PROGRAM PHILOSPHY
It is our belief that children learn best when they are provided with a safe, secure, nurturing, and an enriched learning environment. Our Daycare Center is committed to providing high quality, dependable, and developmentally appropriate care for children ages birth-12 years old.
Our loving staff members will foster each child’s independence with knowledge and self confidence that will enable them to succeed in the years beyond our program.
To promote and encourage learning, caregivers will engage children in age-appropriate hands-on activities where they will be able to explore and learn from their surroundings. Through creative play, positive adult interactions, and parent collaboration, we will nurture each child’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, moral, and spiritual well-being.
CHRISTIAN CURRICULUM
As a Christian facility, our curriculum is God-centered. Using bible songs, prayers, and stories we teach our children about God’s love.
PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM
Our extensive hands-on preschool curriculum begins in our one-year-old classroom, and each program builds on to the next. In our preschool programs, we use a variety of different curriculum approaches. This includes Creative Curriculum, Abeka Book, bible, sign language, phonics, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).
We have a HALO-LED Air Purification System!
- Kills viruses, bacteria and mold
- Kills 99% of viruses on surfaces
- Kills 99% of sneeze germs within three feet

Secure Environment
Heaven’s Elect is a locked, secure facility. To the right of the door is an intercom bell for parents to utilize upon arrival. Our brick building features safety glass, an alarm system wired directly to the police department, 24/7 monitoring, and a burglar alarm with motion sensors.
Holidays & Closures
Heaven’s Elect will be closed in observance of the following holidays: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Our center is open and available to care for all enrolled School Age children whenever Midland Public Schools is closed (planned and unplanned days off).
Daily Routines
We strive to provide our children with the best possible care. With that in mind, we have developed daily schedules that promote healthy growth and development for all children. A daily schedule is available on our website and posted by every classroom door.
Food Provided
Two snacks and lunch is provided daily, at no additional charge to our parents. Food served will include portions from the six basic food groups as defined by the US Department of Agriculture. Snacks and lunches are served with vitamin D or 1% milk, based on State licensing requirements
Management Team

Stephanie Beckett,
Heaven’s Elect Program Manager
Stephanie, a cherished member of the Heaven’s Elect family for the past 17 years, has been instrumental in leading our management team since 2018.
Stephanie has always been inspired by the way children view the world around them, with their endless dreams and aspirations. Her approach to teaching and leadership involves striking a balance between giving children the freedom to make choices and providing the structure and limits they need to thrive. She believes that children learn and grow through repetition and that making mistakes is an essential part of the learning process. By embracing this, children can build their confidence and self-esteem and ultimately reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Stephanie’s journey has always been deeply guided by her faith in God, who has shaped the path that led her here today. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve children and families in this role and could not be happier with where this journey has taken her.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children. Whether it’s camping, bike riding, skiing, or snowboarding, they love exploring and making lasting memories together.

Crystal Forsberg,
Program Administrator
Crystal Forsberg began her career in early childhood education in 2006 and joined the management team at Heaven’s Elect Christian Learning Center in 2011. With over 20 years of experience in the childcare field, Crystal has gained a well-rounded perspective through a variety of roles, including lead teacher in the toddler classroom, caregiver in the infant room, and high school co-op student in a home daycare.
Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and Learning from Central Michigan University. She is passionate about creating a positive learning environment where children feel safe, secure, loved, and encouraged to grow.
Crystal believes children learn best in a safe, nurturing, and enriched environment through hands-on, age-appropriate experiences that allow them to explore, create, and discover. She is committed to supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, morally, and spiritually—through meaningful play, positive relationships, and strong partnerships with families.
As Program Administrator, one of Crystal’s greatest priorities is creating an environment where children can learn about God’s love while developing kindness, compassion, confidence, and respect for others. Her faith is an important part of who she is and guides the way she leads, serves, and interacts with children, families, and staff.
Outside of Heaven’s Elect, Crystal has spent the past 15 years coaching middle- and high-school pom, an experience that has given her the opportunity to mentor and encourage young people beyond early childhood. She enjoys building relationships with teenagers just as much as she enjoys working with young children. Outside of work, Crystal enjoys reading and spending time with her spouse and their two children.
