For stability and consistency, each child will be assigned a primary caregiver. Primary caregivers ensure a sense of trust with each child. Caregivers develop this bond through consistent, predictable, and reliable care.

Bailey Lafevor-Smith,
Baby-ginners Co-Lead Teacher
Bailey has been with Heaven’s Elect since 2022 and holds Lead Teaching credentials from Delta College. She has undergone over 180 hours of training in child development, specializing in infant and toddler care. With six years of experience working with children, she is well-equipped to provide the best care and education for our little ones.
Bailey sees working with young children as a blessing and cherishes the baby snuggles and cuddles she receives daily. She enjoys singing, playing, and engaging in art activities with the infants. Her favorite part of working with children is watching them grow and achieve new things.
Bailey was raised in a church environment and her parents have played a key role in guiding her in her relationship with Christ. She relies on faith in God to lead and direct her daily. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her dog and cat. Bailey also has a passion for outdoor activities, swimming, reading books, and painting.
Aryel Tester,
Baby-ginners Co-Lead Teacher
Aryel Tester has been a dedicated member of Heaven’s Elect since 2011. With over thirteen years of experience working with children and hundreds of hours of child development training, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role as Lead Teacher.
Aryel is deeply committed to teaching children about God’s love and is passionate about creating a dynamic, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diverse learning styles. She understands that each child is unique and strives to challenge and support them individually to ensure their growth and success.
Outside the classroom, Aryel enjoys camping and values the opportunity to connect with nature and her family.

Kayla Veitengruber,
1st Steppers Lead Teacher
We welcomed Kayla to the Heaven’s Elect team in 2022. She’s completed over 90 hours of child development training and brings over four years of experience working with children.
Kayla believes that children are naturally curious, and she creates an environment where they can thrive by letting their curiosity lead their learning. Through choice play and hands-on experiences, Kayla provides ample opportunities for the little ones to explore, grow, and discover new things about the world around them.
Her relationship with God is evident in her passion for teaching His word. Kayla deeply values the guidance and support she receives from God, especially during difficult times. She sees His love as a source of strength, and He consistently provides for her, helping her navigate through life’s challenges.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her friends and playing with her dog.
Kayla’s passion for children and her genuine love for God shine through in everything she does, making her a wonderful addition to the team at Heaven’s Elect.
