PROGRAM PHILOSPHY
It is our belief that children learn best when they are provided with a safe, secure, nurturing, and an enriched learning environment. Our Daycare Center is committed to providing high quality, dependable, and developmentally appropriate care for children ages birth-12 years old.
Our loving staff members will foster each child’s independence with knowledge and self confidence that will enable them to succeed in the years beyond our program.
To promote and encourage learning, caregivers will engage children in age-appropriate hands-on activities where they will be able to explore and learn from their surroundings. Through creative play, positive adult interactions, and parent collaboration, we will nurture each child’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, moral, and spiritual well-being.
CHRISTIAN CURRICULUM
As a Christian facility, our curriculum is God-centered. Using bible songs, prayers, and stories we teach our children about God’s love.
PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM
Our extensive hands-on preschool curriculum begins in our one-year-old classroom, and each program builds on to the next. In our preschool programs, we use a variety of different curriculum approaches. This includes Creative Curriculum, Abeka Book, bible, sign language, phonics, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

Secure Environment
Heaven’s Elect is a locked, secure facility. To the right of the door is an intercom bell for parents to utilize upon arrival. Our brick building features safety glass, an alarm system wired directly to the police department, 24/7 monitoring, and a burglar alarm with motion sensors.
Holidays & Closures
Heaven’s Elect will be closed in observance of the following holidays: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Our center is open and available to care for all enrolled School Age children whenever Midland Public Schools is closed (planned and unplanned days off).
Daily Routines
We strive to provide our children with the best possible care. With that in mind, we have developed daily schedules that promote healthy growth and development for all children. A daily schedule is available on our website and posted by every classroom door.
Food Provided
Two snacks and lunch is provided daily, at no additional charge to our parents. Food served will include portions from the six basic food groups as defined by the US Department of Agriculture. Snacks and lunches are served with vitamin D or 1% milk, based on State licensing requirements
Management Team

Stephanie Beckett,
Heaven’s Elect Lead Management
Stephanie, a cherished member of the Heaven’s Elect family for the past 17 years, has been instrumental in leading our management team since 2018.
Stephanie has always been inspired by the way children view the world around them, with their endless dreams and aspirations. Her approach to teaching and leadership involves striking a balance between giving children the freedom to make choices and providing the structure and limits they need to thrive. She believes that children learn and grow through repetition and that making mistakes is an essential part of the learning process. By embracing this, children can build their confidence and self-esteem and ultimately reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Stephanie’s journey has always been deeply guided by her faith in God, who has shaped the path that led her here today. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve children and families in this role and could not be happier with where this journey has taken her.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children. Whether it’s camping, bike riding, skiing, or snowboarding, they love exploring and making lasting memories together.

Crystal Forsberg,
Program Director
Crystal’s journey in early childhood education began in 2011 when she joined Heaven’s Elect’s management team. Her experience is diverse, having spent a year as a lead teacher in the toddler classroom, a year as a child caregiver in the infant room, and a year as a high school co-op student in a home daycare. Crystal’s qualifications include an infant and toddler Child Development Associate certificate from the Council for Professional Recognition and an associate’s degree in child development from Delta College, and she is currently a senior at CMU pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development and learning. With over 17 years of experience in the childcare field, Crystal is deeply passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for children.
Crystal believes that children learn best when they are provided with a safe, secure, nurturing, and enriched environment. She is committed to promoting and encouraging learning through age-appropriate, hands-on activities that allow children to explore and grow. By integrating creative play, positive adult interactions, and collaboration with parents, she strives to support the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, moral, and spiritual well-being of each child in her care.
As a childcare program director, Crystal’s top priority is teaching children about God’s love and the importance of kindness. Her personal relationship with God is not just a belief but a way of life. It guides her actions and interactions, making her a positive role model for the children she serves.
Outside of her role at Heaven’s Elect, Crystal has coached high school pom for 15 years, and she enjoys working with teenagers as much as she loves working with young children. She also enjoys reading and spending quality time with her spouse and their two children.
